Mainly used for patios and walkways, entranceways, pool decks, pool copings, wall cap or as a veneer when deeper grout joints are sought after. 1” to 2” thick.

Economic way to veneer wall surfaces or other surfaces where clearance may be an issue.

Premium Stand-up
These are large pieces of flagstone that are stood up vertically on the pallet. Used for patios, walkways, entranceways, stepping stones, pool decks and pool copings. 1” to 2” thick.

Slabs
Large pieces of flagstone that are stacked horizontally on pallets. They are so big there is usually only one piece per layer. Used for patios, walkways, entranceways, stepping stones, pool decks and pool copings. Thicknesses range from 1” to 3”.

Cut Stepping Stones
2″ to 4″ thick flagstone snapped into squares and rectangles in 6” increments. Used as column and fireplace caps or stepping stones. Some people use this stone for patios and walkways also. Custom sizes can be special ordered.

Cut Step Treads
3″ to 6″ thick flagstone snapped into rectangles suitable for steps. Other uses include column and fireplace caps or stepping stones. They have an 18” depth and widths include 30”, 36” and 48”.

Tumbled Stepping Stones
Random shapes from 12″ to 20″ and tumbled for smooth rounded edges. 2” to 3” thick. Used as stepping stones or as a veneer for an aged look.

Milled Flooring (Special Order Only)
A dimensional cut flagstone that is milled on both sides to produce a high-grade flooring stone. Milling the stone creates a perfectly smooth and colorful surface. Available in standard 6” increments or custom sizes. Thickness is around 1”.

Mantels & Hearths
We stock a variety of natural stone mantels and hearths at Stone Forest. They all have a milled surface on the top and bottom, three pitched sides and one sawn long side. Standard sizes include 12”and 18” depths, 2.25” thick and 4’ to 8’ lengths. Special order options include custom sizes and bull-nosed or flamed-edge treatments.

Natural Cleft Flooring
A dimensional cut flagstone that has a natural surface on one or both sides to produce a high-grade flooring stone. Available in standard 6” increments or custom sizes. Thickness ranges from 1” to 2”. Special order sizes are available.
